When we get something wrong, hiding it is worse than fixing it cleanly and showing you the fix. This page is where we publicly log the corrections we've made to the site. If you find a sentence that's wrong, out of date, or easy for a beginner to read backwards, please write to [email protected] and tell us; if it checks out, we'll fix it and note here what changed and when.

2026-06-29 · Unified the "red/green up or down" wording, added the cross-market note

A few early articles used inconsistent wording for candle colours; some only said "green up, red down" without noting that this is flipped in different markets. We unified the wording and added one key reminder: Binance and other crypto exchanges default to green up and red down, while mainland Chinese stocks use red up and green down — so that beginners used to A-shares don't read a rise as a fall.

2026-06-29 · Added leverage-risk warnings to pin-bar and derivatives content

The passages on "pin bars" and derivatives examples originally only explained the shapes and touched too lightly on the risk. We added an explicit leverage-risk warning: derivatives and leverage amplify losses, and a pin bar in extreme conditions can trigger liquidation — a reminder that this material is higher-risk and calls for more caution.

2026-06-28 · Fixed a tool's edge-case prompt for extreme inputs

A reader pointed out that the single-candle decoder tool wasn't clear enough when fed some extreme values (for example a high lower than the low, an obvious input mistake). We fixed the edge-case wording; now, on an unreasonable input, it tells you plainly which field is reversed instead of quietly drawing a strange result.

These are honest small corrections about the teaching content — saying things more precisely, spelling out the risks more fully, and smoothing out the tools. We won't use this page to invent some "major factual error" to look diligent; what should be logged gets logged, and we don't pad it with what wasn't changed.
